Challenge
Plansight is a benefits technology platform built to modernize and simplify the employee benefits quoting process for brokers and agencies. Although the product itself was strong, the brand lacked cohesion and emotional resonance. Its visual identity felt fragmented across channels, and messaging often leaned heavily on product features rather than human impact. The challenge was to establish a unified creative direction that clarified
Plansight’s value proposition, deepened audience engagement, and created a scalable foundation for future marketing efforts.
My role was to approach this as a freelance creative partner—blending brand strategy, storytelling, and motion design to demonstrate how Plansight could bridge the gap between sophisticated technology and approachable communication. The goal was to create a system that not only looked consistent but also felt human, trustworthy, and forward-thinking.
Plansight Brand Overview & Gap Analysis
Execution
The project began with a detailed creative audit and brand gap analysis to better understand Plansight’s tone, audience, and existing assets. Through this process, I identified opportunities to reinforce the company’s transparency, human-centered approach, and broker-first philosophy. Building from these insights, I outlined a 30/60/90-day creative rollout plan designed to unify content production, improve storytelling, and build consistency across campaigns
Once the strategic framework was in place, I turned to motion and narrative development. The result was a thirty-second promotional video titled “Quote Smarter with Plansight.” The concept revolved around transformation—visually representing the shift from the chaos of manual RFP management to the clarity of a connected digital platform. The video’s aesthetic combined clean typography, data-inspired motion, and Plansight’s teal and light green palette to create a sense of precision and calm. The script positioned Plansight as a modern, intelligent solution that helps brokers quote, compare, and collaborate seamlessly. A confident closing line—“Save time. Win more business. Deliver better outcomes. Plansight — Quote Faster. Win More.”—anchored the piece in the brand’s voice.
To complement the motion work, I designed a system of social media post templates that extended the refreshed tone and style across LinkedIn and Facebook. Each post was built around the message “The world’s only end-to-end RFP to Employer Presentation solution,” highlighting Plansight’s position as a comprehensive tool for brokers. These modular templates were designed to streamline ongoing content creation, providing a reusable foundation for awareness, education, and engagement campaigns.

Outcomes
The completed project delivered a cohesive creative direction and practical framework that demonstrated how Plansight could strengthen its brand identity through consistent design and storytelling. The video concept reimagined the product narrative, transforming technical functionality into a relatable human story about saving time, building trust, and improving client outcomes. The social system offered an adaptable structure for the marketing team to sustain visual consistency and messaging clarity long-term.
By grounding every creative decision in brand purpose and audience insight, this work illustrated how even a short freelance engagement can shape perception and accelerate momentum. Plansight’s story became less about software and more about empowerment—a shift that set the stage for deeper market recognition and engagement.

Next Steps & Insights
This project reaffirmed my belief that effective brand storytelling begins with empathy and simplicity. Complex ideas become powerful when distilled into visuals and messages that feel human and direct. For future collaborations, I see potential in expanding the Plansight framework into a broader digital ecosystem, including an interactive website experience and a series of animated explainers that visualize data flow, transparency, and collaboration.
Ultimately, this project showcased how strategic design and motion can humanize technology, connecting brand purpose with audience emotion in a way that drives both clarity and trust.
